Sutra of Kuan yin

In the Surangama sutra we hear of Kuan Yin,

the bodhisattva who through the power of her practice of listening,

and turning the mind around

through that accurate, powerful, listening,

is able to deeply hear the cries of the world.

She hears these cries

with a still and perfect serenity,

and she understands that they are all

manifestations of the perfect light of enlightenment.

Because of this she remains peaceful,

and is able to offer exactly the right kind of help to beings,

each one a different help, according to the situation.





OM MANI PADME HUM (where it came from)

I am Quan Yin. Goddess of mercy, forgiveness and compassion. I am here to lift you from your pain,

I here your cry and I am here to bring you to bliss.

I here to quide you to Paradise. Follow my instruction and in 49 days you will be well on your way to enlightenment and perfection.

You must follow, and do as I say give me 15 minutes a day for 49 days{if you miss a day, you must start over again}do as I say and you can obtain freedom from the wheel of rebirth.

As you know my compassion is a very direct and personal, as you may or may not know when you ask my help I answer very quickly.

Call my name and I will instantly come to your aid. Say my mantra,"OM MANI PADME HUM". When you call my name and say my mantra, look to the sky and I will be with you instantly.

The first thing you need to do is get a yellow poster board, you may make it as attractive as you wish. Each time you petition me make a little circle, make your circles in set of 7 {make 1 circle then draw a circle around that circle until you have one set of 7, then begain the next set}, You are creating a circuit of power between myself and you, which will flow and circulate around you to attract your wishs.

The Coming of Avalokiteshvara into this World

Buddha Amitabha manifested the six syllables of "Om Mani Padme Hung" in the form of light, which came into this world to Mount Potala. He also instructed Avalokiteshvara to go there to liberate all the sentient beings. Heralding Avalokiteshvara's coming, the whole world was filled with wondrous signs and brilliant lights, which surpassed the sun and moon.

During that time, Buddha Sakyamuni was giving a teaching at Mount Malaya. One of the Bodhisattva noticed the brilliant lights. He kneeled down and asked the Buddha for the reason. Buddha Sakyamuni replied, "From here to the West beyond the countless universes, there is a place called Padmawati. At that place, there is a Buddha known as Amitabha, and he has a Bodhisattva called Avalokiteshvara. This Bodhisattva has come to this world to Mount Potala where he will benefit countless sentient beings. He is the most perfect amongst all the Bodhisattvas. He manifests one thousand Buddhas pervading the whole universe in order to liberate all sentient beings."
